Montego was born in the Karoo and built on a deep understanding of the people, pets, and communities we serve. As a proudly South African company, we're committed to creating products that meet local needs while contributing to local jobs, skills development, and economic growth. Our roots keep us grounded, while our ambition drives us forward.

At Montego, we prioritize quality and safety in every product. Our facilities meet international food safety standards, certified to FSSC 22000 and adhering to HACCP principles. As members of the Pet Food Industry Association of Southern Africa (PFI), we are committed to responsible manufacturing. From sourcing to packaging, we ensure safe and nutritious pet food that pet owners can trust.

For decades, Montego has combined nutritional expertise, manufacturing excellence, and a commitment to continuous improvement to create products pets can thrive on. Our teams work closely with industry specialists, nutrition experts, and trusted suppliers to ensure every recipe delivers the quality, safety, and performance that pet owners expect from one of South Africa's leading pet nutrition brands.

We believe that quality pet nutrition should be within reach for more pet owners. That's why we've developed a diverse portfolio of products that cater to different needs, life stages, and budgets without compromising on our standards. By balancing nutrition, quality, and affordability, we help more pets enjoy the care they deserve every day.

"Better Every Day" is the mindset that guides everything we do. From refining our recipes and investing in new technology to supporting our people and strengthening our communities, we are constantly looking for ways to improve. Because when we do better, pets, pet owners, and the communities around us benefit too.
