GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title Attempt | Bloem Skou · 1–2 May 2026
YOU DID IT,
WORLD RECORD BREAKER!
Together, life's better — and bowls are fuller.
Thank you for donating a bag and helping make history for pets in need.
You helped make history. Every bag counts. And yours was part of something truly extraordinary.
On 1 May 2026 at 17:00, something remarkable began at the Bloem Skou. Montego Pet Nutrition and Petshop Science set out to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD title for the largest donation of pet food in 24 hours — and you were part of it.
The record to beat was 36 750 kg, set in the United States in 2023. Together, we targeted 67 200 kg — nearly double. That's 3 360 20 kg bags of Monty & Me Dry Essential Dog food, heading straight to shelter animals across the Free State and beyond.
This donation is going to fill real bowls, in real shelters, for real animals who are waiting for their forever homes. Thank you for making it possible.
