You Can’t Beat A Classic” Terms & Conditions

1. All persons entering the ‘You Can’t Beat a Classic’ competition agree that the competition rules as set out in these terms and conditions are binding.
2. The ‘You can’t beat a Classic’ competition is limited to participating retailers and online stores only.
3. To qualify as an entrant, participants must purchase any or a combination of Montego Classic dry dog or cat food products (any kg size, life-stage, or protein variant).
4. The date on which the promotions take place will be communicated by each participating retailer. The promotions will only be valid during the specified dates. No entries received after those dates will be considered.
5. This promotion is subject to stock availability at participating stores.
6. Participants may enter the competition as many times as they wish over the promotional period, provided that they purchase a participating product and complete the competition entry each time.
7. One winner will be selected per retailer, by means of a random draw conducted in-store, at the date specified on the store’s competition poster, online banner, or competition page.
8. Winners do not need to be present on the day of the draw and will be contacted to arrange prize collection.
9. Winners will be notified by the retailer via the contact details provided on the entry form. If the Retailer is unable to contact a winner, or if the winner’s contact details are illegible, the entry will be considered invalid, If a potential prize winner and entry does not meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited and a redraw executed subject to the terms and conditions herein.
10. It is each entrant’s personal responsibility to write his/her details clearly and legibly on their entry form and successfully deposit it into the dedicated entry box.
11. The draw is final, and no correspondence on the matter will be entered into.
12. One winner will be selected per store. The prize consists of 1 x size 3 Megamaster potjie pot, a Montego Classic handle attachment, and a branded wooden board.
13. Prizes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, vouchers, or other products.
14. Should a store be unable to provide an entry leaflet, customers may enter by writing their name and contact details on their purchase slip.
15. Each customer whose valid entry into the in-store competition will be automatically entered into the grand prize draw for a cash prize of R50 000.
16. One winner for the R50 000 cash prize will be selected by means of a lucky draw and will be announced and contacted during September 2021.
17. In the unlikely event of a dispute arising, a Montego representative will make the final decision and no correspondence on the matter will be entered into.
18. Montego Pet Nutrition does not take responsibility for damage to any prize or theft thereof and will be unable to provide extra prizes in such circumstances.
19. Some customers and winners may be requested to take a photo with a Montego representative. These photos may be used by Montego Pet Nutrition on our social media platforms, blogs, and website.
20. No employees, directors, agents, distributors, or consultants and their immediate family members or anyone directly connected to or in the employment of Montego Pet Nutrition, its subsidiaries and business partners, associates, advertising and promotional agencies, and staff members of the participating stores may take part in the promotion.
21. Customers are encouraged to adhere to the sanitizing and social distancing rules as set out by the government in the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
22. Montego reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this competition at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be available on the Montego Pet Nutrition website (visit the “our news” page to view campaign articles).
